The Background Kit with 10 x 12' Solid Ruby Red Muslin Backdrop from Impact consists of a support system and stylish muslin backdrop. The backdrop system includes two support stands and a four-piece snap-together crossbar. The tubular stand legs are sturdy. Setup and break down are easy.
The muslin backdrop is made from a high-quality 100% cotton material. The fabric is one-piece with a 4" rod pocket and five eyelets for convenient hanging. The muslin is washable in cold water if it gets soiled.
The 10 x 12' ruby red Solid Muslin Background from Impact is made from a high-quality 100% cotton material. Suitable for video or still photography, the fabric is one-piece so there's never a concern of a seam showing in the shot.
The background has a 3" rod pocket and five eyelets on the top to make hanging it from your background system a breeze. The material is manufactured to help absorb light and assist in the elimination of any reflections. If the fabric becomes soiled, it is machine washable on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Wash it separately in cold water.
The lightweight and portable BGS-S12-V2 Background Support System from Impact consists of two support stands, which extend to a maximum height of 10.5'. Four 3' crossbar sections are included, so you can assemble a crossbar that extends 6, 9, or 12' wide. The support system holds up to 9' x 12 yd seamless paper rolls or backdrops weighing up to 20 lb. This system becomes ideal for shooting portraiture or tabletop photography and can break down to a folded length of 3.5' to always be ready to go. For added functionality, the support stands convert to a pair of light stands when the top adapters are removed. Both stands feature an industry-standard 5/8? spigot with a 3/8? threaded post, so you can mount lights, LEDs, or flashes as well as light-shaping accessories like umbrellas or reflectors. The included canvas bag makes it convenient to carry and store the background support system.

good quality -- light weight
I used two of these for a theater key art shoot. they were very light, easy to carry-- but are made pretty well. the color was deeper and richer than I'd expected. we had to steam on location which took some time-- but looked good. overall very happy.
It's fine
Great service, shipped really quickly! I like the stand and it's carrying case more than I like the backdrop. The backdrop is very thin, looks very cheap.

good value for the price
I use this product as a back drop but also as part of the set to create certain effects with cloth. Works well. Material is matte so it absorbs light well, is bright and vibrant and saturates nicely in photos. I find that this Impact back drop is a heavier weight than the white and black muslin back drops they make and is durable. Found that there was some dye still rubbing off when new. Washing it in cold water and using a lot of softner gets ride of any excess dye, sizing and the square folds. Creates more texture and some wrinkles after drying but it's cotton material and is to be expected. I find it works for me and recommend it.
