HPE Networking Instant On 1430 Overview
Streamline Ethernet traffic for small business applications with the Instant On 1430 8-Port Unmanaged Switch from HPE Networking. This sports eight RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Providing a 16 Gbps switching capacity and up to 11.90 Mpps of throughput, the Instant On 1430 utilizes 128kb of EEPROM memory and a 2Mb packet buffer. A desktop form factor allows for easy deployment to a tabletop; wall and under-table mounting are also supported using the base surface mounting holes.
Quality of Service ensures the priority of time-sensitive packets (like VoIP and video) over other traffic based on DSCP or IEEE 802.1p classification. Jumbo frame support provides up to 9216 bytes frame size to improve the performance of large data transfers. Flow control provides a flow-throttling mechanism propagated through the network to prevent packet loss at a congested node.
