Simply45 S45-1155 Overview
Designed to work with shielded twisted pair (STP) LAN cables, the Simply45 Cat 7/7a/6a STP Shielded External Ground RJ45 Standard Modular Plug with Bar45 connects onto 23 AWG solid LAN cables up to 0.32 in diameter. Fifty two-piece shielded standard modular RJ45 plugs with external ground come packed inside of a convenient plastic jar, which work with most Cat 7, 7a, and 6a 10G LAN cables with FPE (foamed polyethylene) wire conductors in addition to cables with S/FTP, U/FTP and F/FTP constructions. Each plug features a 3-prong pin design with 50μ 24kt gold plating to help deliver high electrical conductivity and a stronger connection to wire conductors and has a light orange tint for easy identification. These modular plugs are rated to work with PoE and PoH devices.
3-Prong Pin Design
Simply45's 3-prong pins feature 50μ of 24kt gold plating. Having a 3-prong pin provides three points of contact with the copper wire conductor, which provides a strong connection for high electrical performance and improved signal integrity with less heat build-up compared to a 2-prong connection.
Bar45 Load Bar
The Simply45 Bar45 load bars are designed with high quality materials to improve termination performance while simplifying the termination process. It offers better signal isolation for reduced crosstalk and maximized 10G performance by reducing the length of untwisted wires inside the plug.
