Ice Slim IRND Filter (95mm, 6-Stop)

This 95mm Ice Slim IRND Filter is an ND filter with a 64x filter factor that provides a 6-stop exposure reduction. Its 1.8 optical density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed without overexposing your image. By slowing your exposure time, you can create motion blur for special effects or to convey a sense of movement. Opening your iris allows you to create shallow depth of field, which can help isolate your subject. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible light and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light, compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times.

Mounted within a slim, aluminum alloy filter ring that helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses or when stacking filters, while remaining durable and lightweight, this filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity and color fidelity. Each glass surface includes six layers of anti-reflection coatings to prevent internal ghosting and reflections.
