D.A.S. Audio ALTEA-S15A Overview
Designed to provide extended bass response to any full-range speaker cabinets, the D.A.S. ALTEA-S15A is a powered bass reflex subwoofer system, well suited for rental houses, bars, clubs, mobile DJs, or any pro audio application. The ALTEA-S15A utilizes a 1200W (peak) Class-D amplifier to power the 15" woofer and provide a frequency response of 40 to 125 Hz (-10 dB) with a peak SPL output of 131 dB.
The birch plywood enclosure is finished with black ISO-flex paint and includes two handles for easy transporting. The rear panel offers two combo XLR-1/4" inputs, two XLR loop-thru outputs, and DAScontrol DSP, which offers an adjustable crossover, two EQ presets (Deep/Loud), and cardioid presets for utilizing multiple ALTEA S15A subwoofers to reduce sound energy emitted to the rear. The top panel contains a polemount socket for use with 35mm speaker poles for mounting full-range speakers. The D.A.S. ALTEA-S15A ships with a powerCON power cord.
