Explorer XL from
ION Audio, a 220W, 5-speaker sound system with one 1" tweeter, one 8" woofer, and two 3" drivers that produce potent sound in all directions. With Bluetooth 5 onboard, you can easily stream your favorite tracks or stereo link to another speaker for even more immersive sound, and both sound settings and lights can be controlled via the ION Sound XP app.
ION's Touch FX technology and FX record allow you to use four backlit pads to trigger 40 unique sound effects, or record your own sounds. With a rechargeable 120-hour battery and IPX5 water resistance, you can enjoy long parties and events next to the pool without worry. You also get a tunable FM radio with presets, 1/4" inputs for a microphone or instrument, and a 3.5mm aux input. The Explorer XL includes one wired handheld microphone and one power cable to get you started.
Powerful, Immersive Sound
The 220W speaker system in the Explorer XL sports 5 speakers that produce sound in all directions, ensuring that everyone at your party or event gets piece of the sound coming out of your system. The amplifier is powerful enough to project sound for a moderately sized crowd, and you can wirelessly stereo link to a second Explorer XL if you need a little more immersion and potency. The handy Boom button also provides an option to boost the intensity of the music and lighting effects.
Connections for Any Occasion
The Explorer XL has plenty of connection options, so you can rock the way you want.
- One 1/4" mic input for use with the included handheld mic or other compatible microphones
- A secondary 1/4" input designed to accept instruments such as keyboards, synths, drum machines, samplers, and more
- One 3.5mm aux input for connecting stereo audio devices such as smartphones, MP3 players, CD players, and more
- Bluetooth 5 for wireless streaming from your preferred smart device, or control via the ION Sound XP app
