Description
Pro Co Sound CDSS Overview
The Proco Short Stop is a passive momentary on-stage microphone-muting switch for live entertainers. The users' microphone cable is plugged into the Short Stop, and the Short Stop is plugged into the sound system.
When necessary for the user to cough or clear the throat, the Short Stops' switch is depressed and held down, muting the microphone signal to the sound system for as long as necessary, and preventing signal from reaching the audience. Releasing the foot-switch allows the entertainer to resume normal communication with the audience.
