Description
Hoya MkII CPL Filter Overview
This 77mm HD nano Mk II Circular Polarizer helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface such as water or glass, allowing you to see through the surface. You can also use this polarizer to darken the sky and increase color saturation when shooting color images. A circular polarizer includes a quarter wave retarder in addition to the linear polarizing filter, which re-randomizes the polarized light helping to avoid auto focus and exposure issues that can arise from using a linear polarizer. The filter lowers exposure by approximately 1-stop, and features anti-reflective, scratch, water and oil resistant coatings.
