AMAZING VALUE AND VERSATILITY POP FILTER
I ordered 4 of these, and they are a great value. They're easy to fasten to the mic stand upon which your mic is mounted--no need to use and additional stand. They can be bent and adjusted to be right where you want them. And additional plus is they protect your microphone's diaphragm from singer produced moisture (spit!)
Droopy segments
The segmented bendable part doesn't rigidly hold its position. Arguably, this and the screen are the MUST HAVEs for such an item, so no, not great.
Inexpensive POP filter is an essential to carry with you.
This is one of those things to have in your COOL TOOLS bag (along with your foam mic covers and rabbits feet mic covers) whenever your are out in the field. It can attach to a microphone stand when you need to have a few pops mellowed or disappear. The price is right for a carry along device and it is all so the durability should be good.
Well worth the price
Really quite well built and fully functional. I already have several pop filters in my recording studio, some of which were nearly twice as expensive as this one. However, none work better at stopping plosive sounds from a vocalist. And I like the clamp and gooseneck better on this one than the others I own.
