You get enterprise-level battery backup and power protection with the PR2200RT2U Smart App Sinewave Rack/Tower 8-Outlet UPS System from CyberPower. This UPS system can accommodate up to 8 devices with 8 x NEMA 5-20R outlets. If the power goes out, all outlets can receive up to 3.2 minutes of power, while 4 outlets can get up to 11.8 minutes. This is meant to give you enough time to properly shut down your network devices.
In addition to battery backup, this UPS is engineered to protect your equipment from power surges over AC and Ethernet lines. CyberPower backs this protection with a $400,000 connected equipment guarantee and a 3-year warranty. Additional technology and features of this UPS system include the ability to compensate for low voltages so as not to trigger the battery backup, and emergency power-off (EPO) functionality. Take advantage of easy remote management by installing an RMCARD205 networking card, available separately.
Line-Interactive Topology
During low-voltage situations (brownouts), this technology regulates both under and over voltages to keep things running without needing to trigger the battery backup.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
AVR is another method of trying to prevent the triggering of the battery backup. AVR attempts to accomplish this by automatically boosting low voltages to provide clean and consistent AC power.
Rotatable Multifunction LCD Panel
When onsite, you can manage this UPS system with the integrated LCD panel that rotates 90° when placed into a tower format, and can tilt up if mounted low in the tower. The panel gives you access to 47 different settings, such as UPS status, UPS setup and control management, and testing options.
Sine Wave Output
Provides power protection to ENERGY STAR 6.0 systems with Active PFC power supplies.
Battery Equalization Technology
Battery Equalization is a charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.
Fast Charge Technology
Allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by using a built-in charger inside of each UPS or EBM.
Toolless Battery Panel Access
Meant to make battery replacement faster and simpler. The faceplate features side latches for easy removal, and captive screws can be loosened by hand to open the battery cover.
GreenPower UPS Bypass Design
Allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer when AC power is stable, which can reduce energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.
PowerPanel Business Edition Software
Provides IT professionals with tools for monitoring and managing the UPS and backup power. This software offers remote management functionality and is freely available to download from CyberPower.
