Liebert PSI5-3000SRT120LI Overview
Designed for server rooms, network closets, and other distributed IT applications, this PSI5 Lithium-Ion 3000VA Short Depth 3U Rack/Tower UPS 120V from Liebert offers solid power capacity in a small rack/tower convertible form factor. This UPS has an output of 3000 VA/2700W and an input of 120 VAC at 60 Hz, allowing for the non-programmable NEMA L5-30R outlet, six non-programmable NEMA 5-15R/20R outlets, and 3 programmable NEMA 5-15/20R outlets to adequately distribute backup power.
Liebert has designed this UPS to feature pure sinewave output, USB ports, emergency power off, hot swappable lithium-ion batteries, and a rotatable LCD display panel. The PSI5 sports a recharge time of two hours to 90% and has a runtime of 7.7 minutes at full-load and 18.3 minutes at half-load. Along with visual warnings on the LCD display, the PSI5 can also output audible-tone indicators that inform you of faults in the system, low battery, battery mode, and overloads. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) also comes standard with this UPS as a mode. Moreover, a NEMA L5-30P plug is the primary input connection of this UPS, and with a 10' cord, you can easily install this convertible design in a way that's appropriate for your setup.

On/Normal Mode: The UPS input is plugged into a stable, nominal source, and the outlets are turned on. The internal batteries are charging.
On/Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)/Boost Mode: The UPS input is plugged in, but the voltage source is abnormally low (brown-out). The UPS automatically corrects the low voltage and allows the outlets to be on with the normal, expected voltage. The internal batteries are charging.
On/Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)/Buck Mode: The UPS input is plugged in, but the voltage source is abnormally high. The UPS automatically corrects the high voltage and allows the outlets to be on with the normal, expected voltage. The internal batteries are charging.
On/Battery Mode: The UPS input is not plugged in or the voltage source has become extremely low or high and unusable. The UPS automatically switches to the internal battery to provide normal, usable voltage to the outlets.
Fault Mode: An error or fault condition has occurred. The outlets are shut off.
Battery Self-Test Mode: The UPS enters a cycle of approximately 10 seconds during which it tests the internal battery. The outlets are still temporarily powered by the internal battery. Self-test mode occurs at the following instances:
- At startup when turning the UPS on.
- Automatically every 8 weeks as a self-check.
- Manually by pressing and holding the ON/Mute button for 3 seconds when the unit is on.
