The Global Shutter Camera is a specialised camera module designed for capturing rapid motion without distortion, making it ideal for high speed photography and machine vision applications. The camera features a Sony IMX296 1.6MP sensor that utilises the same C/CS lens mounting as the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera. The camera delivers a large pixel size of 3.45µm x 3.45µm and can operate with exposure times as low as 30µs (with adequate lighting).
