The FreeWave Plus II Remote Shutter Release from Vello is a wireless shutter release set that allows select Panasonic cameras to be triggered remotely to get shots from distances as far as 320' away. Multiple available shooting modes allow shooting in single, continuous, four-second delay, and bulb modes. The dual-function release enables pre-focusing by half-pressing the trigger button, then firing the shutter release by fully pressing. LED indicators confirm pre-focus and exposure status. The compact transmitter and remote receiver unit are each powered by two AAA batteries.

Great product!
Bought this for my Nikon z7ii and it works great! When I first installed, did not work so had to call customer support (Thank you Stephen!). I had the dip switches matching on both parts, but still did not work. Tech had me change all the dip switches to off and it worked. Dinging it one star as the small strap to attach to the remote is impossible to put on. Otherwise, great product!
Flawless operation
I bought this version to replace my original Vello. It's much more versatile than the Canon wired or wireless remotes. It operated flawlessly in shooting stars and on a remote camera shooting wide angle from my tripod while I was hand holding my Zoom lens on a second camera.
Just something...
The batteries that come with this didn't work. The people at bh changed my batteries 3 times but none of them worked. I assume it's a manufacturer's problem. Just buy batteries separately.
An Outstanding Quality and Dependable Remote Shutter Control
This unit is amazing, never misses a beat. It is compact, light, and is so reliable. I had an older version of the Vello shutter release it is would occasionally fail to fire. This unit never fails. It is a great buy. You won't be disappointed.
Works good for single shot
Works good for single shots, would not over ride camera settings for multiple shots or bulb. Single shots was what I was looking for any way. One sour not batteries that came with it where dead.
Awesome
It works with my Nikon d850! I'm thrilled because the app was so slow and glitchy but this clicks the shutter instantly as many times as I want and I can click it from my pocket or behind my back! Looking forward to much smoother family pictures from now on!
Cheap and easy to use
I was originally looking at getting a wired trigger form my new XH2 but found this. I bought it because it was cheaper and wireless. Teh hardest part was threading the lanyard to the unit and it is a bit plasticky, hence 4 stars. As far as function, you can't go wrong! Plug it in the camera, and release with the remote - no wire. You have other functions as well as a nice addition. I was pleasantly surprised and would buy again.
