Auralex UBFF Overview
The U-Boat Floor Floater from Auralex is a single U-shaped channel designed for supporting framing members to isolate and decouple them from their surrounding structures. Made of a specially-formulated rubber compound, the floater helps a room deliver improved transmission loss (isolation) and low frequency definition. As a rule of thumb, a tight, floated room will always have better acoustics than one using traditional construction.
