8A34042E-000NLG is a four-channel universal frequency translator. It is a highly integrated timing device that generates synchronous or asynchronous clocks from its reference inputs. The device can be used in any synthesizer or jitter attenuator application, including optical transport network (OTN), and synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) systems. Typical application includes core and access IP switches / routers, synchronous Ethernet equipment, 10Gb, 40Gb, and 100Gb Ethernet interfaces, wireless infrastructure for 4.5G and 5G network equipment, OTN muxponders and line cards.

- Supports all ITU-T G.709 frequencies, meets OTN jitter and wander requirements per ITU-T G.8251
- Four independent timing channels, LVCMOS additionally supports 1.5V or 1.2V
- 8 differential / 16 LVCMOS outputs, frequencies from 0.5Hz to 1GHz (250MHz for LVCMOS)
- Jitter below 150fs RMS (10kHz to 20MHz), independent output voltages of 3.3V, 2.5V, or 1.8V
- 7 differential / 14 single-ended clock inputs, support frequencies from 1kHz to 1GHz
- Any input can be mapped to any or all of the timing channels
- DPLLs can be configured as DCOs to synthesize clocks under the control of an external algorithm
- Supports 1MHz I²C or 50MHz SPI serial processor ports, 1149.1 JTAG boundary scan
- Temperature range from -40° to +85°C
