For vloggers, livestreamers, and run-and-gun videographers who need an unobtrusive and travel-ready microphone that provides higher-quality sound capture than their device's built-in mic, the simorr Wave S1 camera-mount shotgun microphone delivers an ultracompact and extremely affordable solution. It even comes with two 3.5mm cables to allow proper hookup to your camera, portable audio recorder, smartphone, or tablet.
Since the Wave S1 runs on plug-in power (no batteries required) and has no controls to configure, it ensures easy, user-friendly operation for people of all experience levels. The aluminum housing provides durability, light weight, and resistance to interference from RF sources. Bundled with a detachable shoe shockmount, a foam windscreen, and a furry windshield, the Wave S1 helps you record audio with less noise from vibrations and wind, whether you shoot inside or outdoors.
At just over 3" long, the mic can sit atop virtually any camera or smartphone without intruding on the shot.
The hard-wearing and stable U-shaped shockmount attaches to your camera's cold shoe and reduces unwanted vibrations when recording.
Since the mic runs on plug-in power, it never needs to be recharged or freshened up with new batteries.
Camera and Smartphone Cables
The Wave S1 comes with two 3.5mm cablesa TRS cable for use with cameras and a TRRS cable for connecting to a smartphone.
Noise-Reducing Pickup Pattern
By utilizing a cardioid polar pattern, the microphone picks up sound in front of the capsule while rejecting ambient noise behind it.
Indoor and Outdoor Wind Protection
Use the foam windscreen indoors to reduce wind noise from fans and keep it on outside when breezes are light. Upon encountering windier conditions, switch to the supplied furry windshield for more effective control of noise from stronger gusts.
