Rycote Winshield For Sennheiser 416
My Business is Location Audio Mixing. I use Sennheiser 416 short shotgun mics with The Rycote Windshield. This system always delivers 100% of the time. I've used it in Hotel Rooms, Factories and in the Field. I always get perfect audio
Like it, but don't love it.
This kit is pretty expensive for what you are getting. I like the blimp and the pistol grip with the XLR that snakes through, but getting the blimp to slide onto the mount is kind of a pain. It really sticks to the rubber. The dead cat is nice, but I have noticed it shedding a lot just from a few uses. I should have checked regarding the packaging it comes in--I thought it would have the nice plastic kit to keep everything separated and nice--but it just comes in a white box with cardboard dividers. Again, that is my own fault. Like the product, but there are a few things that keep me from giving it a full five stars.
