Description
Starfield SF-SOL-WEDGE-1 Overview
The Herschel Wedge for Solar Observation from Starfield allows for safe observation or photography of the sun. Used in place of your refractor telescope's 1.25" diagonal or prism, the wedge employs a prism that deflects a small, safe amount of light to the eye while dispersing the rest. An adjustable circular polarizing filter allows for safe and comfortable observation. The wedge offers a 26.5mm clear aperture and has an M42 thread for attaching a camera T-ring adapter.
The Herschel Wedge is for use only with non-Petzval refractor telescopes with apertures of 4" or smaller. It is not to be used Petzval refractors, reflector telescopes, or refractors with apertures larger than 4" / 102mm.
