Ultimate Support TS-80B Overview
The Ultimate Support TS-80B is a lightweight speaker stand made of high-grade aluminum in a black matte finish, with a 150 pound load capacity. The stand features a built-in socket adapter accommodating both 1-3/8" and 1-1/2" speaker sockets, a glass-reinforced polycarbonate telescoping collar, with a die-cast metal clamp for extra security, and an easily tightened adjustment knob.
A tube stop prevents accidental removal of the center tube, and the die-cast metal leg collar clamp ensures maximum stability at the base. The closure lever for the legs is preset to the proper tension for quick setup.

This is solid, easy to assemble, they are heavier than a lot of other stands because it is so well built. I love the way the tripod legs work. There is a reason why these are the most popular stands in the world.
Amazing product well worth it
After doing lots of research for speaker stands that would be durable, look professional and be affordable, I purchased these for my dj/kj setup. The best in it's class
The Ultimate Support TS series stands are second to none in performance to price ratio. Head and shoulders above the others in this class. Nicely Built
This speaker stand is nicely built with great quality. Ultimate Support has not let me down and the current Ultimate Support Stand that I've been using for years (Speaker and Microphone) are still in great working shape!
Ultimate Support Never Disappoints
I've owned several different manufacturer's stands and Ultimate Support is by far tops in my book.
A Good Stand
Instead of having to thread a pin while holding up a heavy speaker you simply tighten a knob for a compression hold (the knob threads through an all metal clamp). I've used it at several gigs with a QSC K-10 and it seems to work well (in our duo we use a single K-10 as if it were a Bose). The legs are bolted through the fiber reinforced plastic hub (if the plastic fails the bolts will hold it together) which seems like a better design than the lower end products, but it is a bit more difficult to open up from a closed position. It is all aluminum and so lightweight (the cheaper speaker stands use steel for the main tubing) it took me awhile to get comfortable with the idea that it is actually stronger...
Very Supportive.
This speaker stand is pretty good. But the adapter for smaller speaker holes is terrible. but otherwise the stand is durable and heavy duty.
The TS-80B is very good.
The TS-80B is a lightweight-yet-solid, no-nonsense, and easy to use speaker stand that collapses to nice size. I highly recommend them when speaker-on-a-stick is appropriate. I really like knowing that replacement parts are available.
