Stream your favorite music playlists and podcasts from a mobile device, while leaving them connected to a pair of components, such as a turntable and CD player. The solid MDF wooden enclosures with walnut veneer are not just visually attractive, but also assist in optimizing the quality of your music by reducing distortion and resonance. They are also angled upwards by 10° to better direct audio to your ears and fill the room with 66W of RMS audio power.
High-Quality Components
In order to deliver finely tuned audio with a wide soundstage, Edifier equipped each speaker with a Class-D amplifier and both a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and DRC (Dynamic Range Control). These are joined by a 4" midrange driver and 0.8" silk diaphragm tweeter.
Add More Bass
If the bass response of the 4" midrange drivers are not enough, you can dramatically boost your low end with an optional subwoofer connected to the sub out port of the R1700BTS.
