This angled-viewing Celestron LandScout 20-60x80 Spotting Scope Digiscope Kit makes the ideal companion at the range, in the field, or on the trail�and as a beginner astronomical telescope for lunar and wide-field planetary viewing.
At the low 20x magnification, it can be used for taking in large portions of the terrain to make it easy to find your subjects with the ability to dial it up to 60x to make detailed observations�even at long distances. The scope's large 80mm objective, combined with anti-reflection fully coated optics, draws in copious amounts of light, giving it competent low-light performance at dawn or dusk, or when viewing subjects at long range on high power. The larger objective also improves the field of view and exit pupil diameter, to give you a more immersive and comfortable viewing experience versus a similar scope with the same magnification range but a smaller objective. With its eyepiece set at a 45° angle relative to the optical tube, your head and neck are in a comfortable position whether you're standing, sitting, or lying prone.
Designed as a complete kit, Celestron includes several accessories to help get you observing faster. First is a convenient tabletop tripod outfitted with a simple pan/tilt head, so you can set it up just about anywhere. Then, there is a basic smartphone adapter that allows you to capture photos and video on your phone through the eyepiece to edit, share, and post quickly and easily. Finally, you get a soft canvas carry bag that the scope, tripod, and digiscoping adapter all fit into for easy carrying and safe storage.
