Zhiyun Crane-M3 Overview
Small, lightweight, and fashionable, the CRANE-M3 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer Pro Kit from Zhiyun-Tech is designed for compact cameras, smartphones, and action cameras. The compact design allows you to freely maneuver your camera for longer periods of time, and it's also easy to pack up with you when traveling. New features include an integrated fill light with color filters and adjustable color temperature, a fashionable white exterior, a 1.22" full-color OLED display, PD quick charge, eight hours of runtime, and an even faster quick release baseplate. This Pro Kit includes an expansion microphone, a backpack, and a smartphone clamp.
The CRANE-M3 offers 360° pan, 309° tilt, and 333° roll rotation across seven modes of operation, including follow, pan-follow, POV, portrait, GO, lock, and vortex modes, and it can also be adjusted manually if required. It runs for approximately eight hours using its built-in 1150mAh battery that's rechargeable using an included USB Type-C cable, and you can also power the gimbal using a power bank while operating the gimbal. The color OLED display confirms the selected operation mode, battery level, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi status, and other functions. Scale marks and memory locks help you balance the camera and lock the balance position for the camera used.
Over built-in Wi-Fi, the gimbal can sync up with a Wi-Fi-enabled camera that supports remote zoom, shutter, and video start/stop control, or you can utilize a camera control cable and the USB Type-C port on the baseplate to control the camera shutter and also power the camera. Over built-in Bluetooth, the camera syncs up with a free-download ZY Play mobile app for iOS and Android for additional capabilities. The app provides remote control over many functions of the gimbal and has filmmaking features such as time-lapse, panorama, and slow-motion capture. The integrated LED light allows you to utilize a fill light for your subject without the requirement of external lights.

Tiny gimbal. Great.
This thing is tiny. Very compact and light. Easy to balance a full frame camera. In my case an A7Rii with the 20mm 1.8. Built in charging port, comes with a type of quick release mount. Also a built in light makes it very convenient. Smooth motor action. Can't beat this gimbal. Totally recommend it.
Love it
If you have a mirroless camera, M3 is the gimbal that you need. Balancing is super easy, motor is powerful and it looks awesome. So far it works well with my A7III and the battery runtime is okay for me. Overall I'm happy with it.
Great upgrade from my other gimbal
Definitely a great buy. I bought this gimbal to use with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I can easily mount other accessories to the handle. The build quality is great and the touch screen is very handy. Also the built-in light is bright when maxed out if you're the subject. Build quality is superb, feels very solid, all the locks and levers move very easily. Highly recommend

The gimbal is very lightweight. The footage is very stable even at 4K. It's a very good system for lightweight camera setups like Sony A7c , Sony A6600. The light on the front is very bright. Compact and perfect for travel. m

Balances on my A7 IV with a 24mm GM 1.4 Lens
I'm new-ish to stabilizers and not a pro. Use it for my son's YouTube channel, VLOG and POV shots. Unit looks good and was fairly easy to figure out how to balance after a couple YouTube searches. I have not tried any zoom lenses, but it does well with my 24mm 1.4 GM on a Sony A7 IV. I think the Sony 16-35 F4 would be about the largest lens I would put on it. Four stars because there is probably too much of a learning curve for hobbyists, I feel the controls are a little un-intuitive, and I feel the pro-kit should come with Zhiyun's upgraded mounting plate that allows you to switch the battery without taking the camera off of the stabilizer thus necessitating you to rebalance every time your batter runs out.
