This aluminum plate features an anti-twist pin and a captive 1/4"-20 mounting screw. The anti-twist pin prevents skewing of the camera on the plate (common with single-pin plates). This will ensure that your camera remains properly aligned when used on a tripod or other mount with a quick release system.
