The all-metal Tough E-mount LT is designed to be more durable than mounts that have plastic components, reduce possible light leaks, and provide a tight and secure connection between the camera and lens. The Tough E-Mount LT is made from chromed brass and retains infinity focus.

The Sony ?7s and many of the pro E-Mount video cameras already have an all metal mount and do not benefit from this modification.
