The Enthusiast Kit for 35mm and 120 Film Scanning from Negative Supply is comprised of Negative Supply items such as the Basic Riser MK3, Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2, and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2. The film carriers contain a double S-curve design that keeps film flat and tight, and are compatible with optional accessories for scanning other formats or full border scanning. Also included is the 4 x 5� Light Source Basic MK2, which is an ultra-bright light source that is between 2-4 stops brighter than the 4 x 5� Light Source Basic.
The Basic Riser MK3 from Negative Supply offers added height, rigidity, and a more solid baseboard to work with a wider range of camera/lens combinations and to provide a more stable, rigid workflow than its predecessor. Designed to support nearly all popular camera and macro lens combinations, the Basic Riser MK3 is a capable copy stand for nearly any user. With a maximum riser height of 23", the Basic Riser MK3 is capable of scanning up to 4 x 5" film with up to a 70mm full-frame equivalent focal length, 120 film with over a 100mm full-frame equivalent focal length, and 35mm film with nearly any macro lens.
The Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 from Negative Supply makes it easy to scan your rolls of film quickly at home with the use of a DSLR or mirrorless camera when coupled with other Negative Supply products. Thanks to its shared parts with the Pro Film Carrier 35, this carrier keeps your film perfectly flat while reducing drift and allows you to produce high-quality scans of an entire roll in less than two minutes. It can be used with either full rolls or cut strips of film, and the included film masks enable you to scan film of several different sizes.
The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 from Negative Supply keeps your film flat for scanning and can be used for 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 6x9cm formats. You can use it to scan negatives or transparencies in a single image capture. It can also be used to scan panoramic 120 film by stitching two or more exposures. With a universal mounting point via the optional Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 Stabilizing Mask, this carrier can be quickly and easily added to a wide range of Negative Supply light sources and other products for a more stable workflow. It also eliminates extraneous light from negatively impacting your film scanning. This 120 film carrier requires no additional hardware or tools to swap film cassettes.
The Basic Film Carrier 35mm MK2 Stabilizing Mask from Negative Supply is an adapter that seamlessly connects your film carrier to the 4x5 Light Source Basic or Light Source Mini to mask extraneous light during 35mm film scanning. The mask also keeps the film carrier secured while film is passed through it.
The Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 Stabilizing Mask from Negative Supply offers stability and masks extraneous light when scanning film, ensuring a more confident workflow. It is designed to connect the Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 seamlessly to 4 x 5" Light Source Basic, 4 x 5" Light Source Basic MK2, 4 x 5" Light Source Pro, or Light Source Mini. This simple accessory makes your workflow more efficient and helps to complete the Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2.
