ikan PT4700 Overview
The Professional 17" High-Bright Beam Splitter Teleprompter with 17" Talent Monitor Kit from ikan features three interchangeable camera mounts enabling it to support a wide range of cameras. The included talent monitor mounts below the teleprompter and allows your on-air talent to see themselves or other images. This is useful when the on-air talent has to interact with a chroma keyed image.
The teleprompter comes with three interchangeable camera mounts enabling it to support a wide range of cameras. One of the plates is suitable for DSLR/mirrorless cameras, one for small to large camcorders, and the third is for ENG cameras that use VCT plates. Build the prompter with one 17" monitor, a collapsible hood, and one of the camera mounts easily attach to the base of the teleprompter. The base can then be mounted onto a tripod or pedestal via multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads. The second monitor mounts under the prompter.
A pair of long rods and two rod clamps are included for mounting the monitor on the front of the base and a pair of short rods is provided for attaching counterweights on the rear. The hood slides in vertically between the monitor and camera mount and is secured by thumbscrews. Windows/Mac prompting software is included on a disc and can also be downloaded from the ikan website.
