Alpine Astronomical FFK-1 Overview
The 1.25" Alpine Astronomical Baader Fringe Killer Filter blocks unfocused light and prevents unwanted color fringes in both the blue spectral range and IR wavelengths above 700nm to improve views through your telescope. With the elimination of fringing, lunar and planetary surface details can be finely resolved with excellent color balance. By eliminating IR light between 656-1150nm, this filter is ideal for lunar and planetary astrophotography using DSLR cameras and CCD imagers that are sensitive to wavelengths outside the visual spectrum, which can cause ghosting and other distortions in images.
