Good for cars only(small area)
This vacuum can pack a punch however not intended for prolong use. I have a compact SUV and it did its job but I noticed that by the time I was about to finish up completing total floor, seats and panels, the machine is starting to get warm but not too hot to touch. The vacuum bag is not even full meaning enough vents /space for air intake. I gave it a break before using it as a blower after thorough washing the exterior of the car. Summary; Pros Light weight High maneuverability specially under hard to reach seats Several nossle connectors suitable for each use High permance (used it after going to the beach) Blower functionality is decent enough to get to those creases between side mirrors, back door space, latches etc.. Cons The lock mechanism doesn't lock as tight so if you kinda twist it as you maneuver need to pay attention it will accidentally dislodge and open up. Not suitable for prolong continous use the motor starts to heat up... (give or take it started getting hot at 30 - 45min thorough use) Bottomline it does its job as designed for vehicle use. FYI... I have used it only 1 time since I got it ... either its still in the break-in period or the other way around. Hopefully it'll last for a long time since it's MADE IN THE USA
Metrovac Vac n Blow 500 review
Purchased in mid May, received mid July. kept me updated from manufacturer; great customer service. Machine use: small and portable; came with all usual utensils; hose could be a little longer; strap annoying as it slides along the handle while over the shoulder. Needs to be able to be secured at each end to prevent sliding. Expected better suction from American made product. Fix last two issues and I'll give product a ten!
