Go virtually anywhere and shoot with cameras weighing up to 26.5 lb with this Sachtler System FSB 8 Mk II Sideload and 75/2 aluminum tripod Legs with Ground Spreader and Bag. The system is lightweight and travels packed in an included bag for ease of travel and provides a stable shooting platform for cinematic pans and tilts. The Sideload S camera plate securely locks your camera to the head by popping it in from above for fast attachment. It provides 4.7" of travel for balancing your camera on the head, with 15-steps of counterbalance, 7 x independent fluid drag settings for pan and tilt, and a 0 setting for all, which allows you to tune the head to match the needs of your shot for smooth operating and cinematic camera moves.
The head allows you to tilt forward so you can tilt straight down and tilt almost straight up as well, plus the 75mm half ball has an integrated flat base for additional mounting options. The two-stage aluminum legs are strong and stable while being lightweight and easy to use. The system has a generous height range of 23.2 to 68.9" for low- and high-angle shots when using the included ground spreader. The legs feature a 75mm bowl base for quick leveling of your head and collapse down to just over 34" in length for travel.
Sachtler FSB 8 MK II Fluid Head with Sideload Mechanism
Fast to work with and lightweight at only 5.72 lb, the Sachtler FSB 8 MK II Fluid Head with Sideload Mechanism supports up to 26.4 lb of camera and accessories, and with its 15-steps of counterbalance adjustment, you can tune the head to work with the lightest of cameras. The head features a 75mm ball for quick leveling, and the independent drag adjustment and tilt locks permit you to adjust and move the head with precision to tune it to match the needs of your shot.
The head allows you to tilt forward so you can tilt straight down and tilt almost straight up as well. Pan and tilt have seven independent drag settings, plus a zero setting for no drag at all. Borrowing from the aktiv system, the bubble level has been improved, not only is it illuminated, but now you can see the bubble level from the side, as well as when looking down on the head, for intuitive leveling from almost any position.
The 15-step counterbalance settings let you adjust the head to neutralize the weight of cameras up to 26.4 lb, so the head remains in the position you set it and does not tilt forward of back because of the weight of your camera. This allows you to tune the head to match the weight of your cameras, allowing you to work equally well with extremely lightweight cameras as well as cameras weighing up to 26.4 lb. The zero setting provides you a completely free movement if you want.
Frictionless Leak-Proof Fluid Damping
Frictionless leak-proof fluid damping with 7 x levels of drag, for smooth pictures while panning, without jerks and vibrations. Identical across both horizontal and vertical planes, and allows complete disengagement of drag for fast panning
The FSB 8 MK II features Sachtler's Sideload mechanism, which allows you to pop the plate in above instead of trying to slide it in from the edge, and it boasts an exceptionally large sliding range of 4.7"
Sachtler 75/2 Aluminum Tripod (75mm)
A solid and strong set of legs, the 2-stage Sachtler 75/2 Aluminum Tripod with 75mm bowl supports up to 44 lb and is well suited for camcorders and DSLRs to smaller digital cine cameras. This tripod does not include separately available spreaders or rubber feet. The legs feature a working height range of 16.6 to 61.8" when using a ground spreader (not included), providing you with a range of shot heights without having to use specialty legs.
Each leg is independently adjustable in height and angle, allowing you to quickly rough in your position. The adjustments allow the tripod legs to work in oddly shaped spaces and remain stable on uneven surfaces. The lever locks are durable and lock the leg heights quickly and securely. The tripod legs can be used by themselves on soft ground or with optional rubber feet, a mid-level spreader, or a ground spreader.
The legs feature independent height adjustments and spread, which allow the legs to remain stable on rough terrain and uneven surfaces such as stairs.
The dual spiked feet provide a firm grip on soft surfaces, such as earth or sand, when the legs are at a normal height or when you need to spread them wide for low-angle shots.
Sachtler Spreader SP 75 Ground Tripod Spreader
The Sachtler SP 75 Ground Tripod Spreader fits all 75mm tripods except flowtech, Soom, and Ace M/MS, and it's used when shooting on a level surface such as a studio, city street, office, sports field, or stadium. It allows for rapid setup and pull-down by keeping tripod legs at an equal or preset distance relative to each other. The SP 75 spreader attaches directly to the bottom of a tripod's feet and its telescopic arms allow for the extension of the legs.
Sachtler DV 75 S Padded Bag
The Sachtler DV 75 S Padded Bag is a soft tripod bag designed to carry the Sachtler ENG 75/2 D tripod with various DV heads. The case can be carried by the interlocking handles or with the attached shoulder strap.

Sachtler FSB 8 MKII Tripod System Reviews
Love this tripod

Rated 4 out of 5

Well built and stable. Excellent pan/tilt operation. Very smooth. Drag strong enough to maintain 600 mm lens (at times with Ninja V added) without camera falling forward or backwards when adjusting drag. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is I find setup and take down seriously awkward and clumsy. Bottom spreaders tend to twist. I am keeping the tripod. Too much good about it. Only wish setup/take down felt more coordinated.
