Angler Green Screen 2-Light Kit

B&H has put together this Angler Green Screen 2-Light Kit to give photographers everything they need to key creative or exotic backgrounds into their photos. The kit includes 2 Angler Shadow Focus Spot 300 lights, with barndoors, a 5x7' collapsible chroma green background, a Multiboom Light Stand/Reflector Holder, two 8' air-cushioned light stands, and two 33" white translucent umbrellas. A Savage photo Creator Kit is included to allow you to digitally add the background of your choice to your photo.

Angler Shadow Focus Spot 300 Light

The Shadow Focus Spot 300 is a 300W focusable fixture with a wide 21-40° beam angle that's variable with a simple knob. The safety-glass-protected, separately purchased lamp has a color temperature of approximately 3100K with an average lamp life of 100 hours. Four-way barndoors are included to put the light where you want it and keep it off of areas that you don't. Convenience features include a cool-touch handle for safe tilting adjustments and a 12.5' power cable with an in-line switch and a grounded 3-prong US/North American.

5x7' Collapsible Chroma Green Background

The chroma green background uses a specialized color to allow you to key in the background of your choice in postproduction using digital software. This background features crease-resistant fabric with a stretch-frame that helps smooth the fabric and keep it wrinkle-free. Best of all, the it pops open, and collapses to 1/3 its size quickly and easily. Touch-fastening straps on each side are used for hanging the background from a stand or other support. In addition, the background may be clamped to a flat surface and bent into a cove for tabletop photography.

Multiboom Light Stand and Reflector Holder

The Multiboom can support a small or medium light head to a height of 13' (4 m). Raise the second section completely, click, and it is a boom stand. As a boom, it can hold a small light head extended almost 3' from the center of the stand. The Multiboom is also reflector holder by means of its two clamps, which can support an Impact, Flexfill, or Photoflex light disc as large as 60".A hole at the end of the arm allows an optional counterweight to be hung, for greater stability.

8' Air-Cushioned Light Stand

This aluminum stand is a 4-section light support with sure-twist section locks.If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.

33" White Translucent Umbrella

This umbrella can be used in traditional bounce mode, but you can also use it in shoot-through mode. Pump the light through it and aim the umbrella exterior at your subject for a soft but slightly crisp look.

Photo Creator Kit

  Add green-screen capabilities to your studio or location setup with this lightweight 5 x 7' Collapsible Background from Angler . The durable fabric absorbs light to eliminate unwanted reflections, while the green chroma key surface allows you to digitally insert the background of your choice in postproduction, using optional software. Reinforced with stylish black edging tape, this background is stretched onto a self-supporting steel frame, which pops open in a snap for support against a wall. Heavy-duty hook-and-loop fasteners are integrated into the top and sides of the rim for attachment to a background holder, stand, or tripod. After your shoot, the background collapses to one-third its original size for transporting and storage in the included circular carry bag with a see-through window.   Instructions for Using This Stand as a Boom

  1. Loosen the large long handle in the middle of the stand.
  2. Loosen the top-most section of the stand. Pull that section all the way up.
  3. Pull! - swing it horizontally for the boom feature, and lock it for the desired setup.

  Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a lightbox.

  Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.

  How it Works

  Hang the green screen cloth, load the Green Screen Wizard Lite software on your PC or Mac compatible computer

  Take the photo, navigate to the "Load Foreground" link

  Select the background you want, drop it in and you're done
