9.SOLUTIONS Rod Set Overview
Part of the Mini Rigging System, this 250mm 9.Solutions 3/8" Rod Set consists of two aluminum 3/8" rods each with 3/8" thread at each of their ends. The rods can be fastened together via optional long nuts. The rods can also be mounted to other pieces of grip gear using their 3/8"-16 thread.

Nice looking; sturdy
These things aren't too compllicated but they look nice and stand up to heavy use. They just straight up do the job.
More is Better
More mass but still light and nimble. Got these and the 250mm to position lighting accessories for extreme close up shots. They're stout with super snug threading that once assembled they'll stay put. I'll order more soon as there's uses I haven't thought of yet and fairly priced.
Proprietary 3/8th
9.Solutions seemed to offer unique, well thought out products for car rigging but I was disappointed to find out that their 3/8� products aren�t actually 3/8� but slightly larger. The thread is standard 3/8� but not the actual rod diameter. Dishonest and frustrating.
An essential Part
I used this in combination with a Pedco UltraMount Universal Ball Head, an Impact Small 3/8" Female Threaded Adapter to 1/4"-20 Male Threaded Post, a Vello Cold Shoe Mount with 1/4" thread, and a lock nut from a Rycote 037302 Hot Shoe Adaptor to attach a Rode Video Mike to my Manfrotto Fluid Drive Head. This freed up the camera hot shoe to hold another accessory, and moved the mike to a position where it was out of my way and less likely to pick up camera sounds. You would think that an item like this would be commercially available as a unit, but every "magic arm" I found was more complex, more expensive and still required some more hardware to complete the link. The setup works perfectly.
Perfect Fit
Just like the 150mm set they're super precise, solid, strong, and the best I've ever seen. The connectors don't have to be torqued super tight to grip securely as the machining is excellent. Snugged up, no jiggle or rattle they're like a solid longer piece. Go for it.
Skinny penetrable.
Wow these are skinny but really strong to get into tight spots with the Pico Clamp attached reflector or whatever. Threads are cut smooth to attach whatever with secure tenacity. I'll get more.
