Needed second AiMesh system for GT-AX11000
This is the latest update to GT-AX11000. I purchased the GT-AXE16000 since I could connect it to my GT-AX11000 to provide a second Wi-Fi access point with 2.5GB Ethernet backhaul.
Perfect fit for fiber internet
Great device. Moved up from the 11000 to the 16000 for faster connectivity to fiber internet as the fiber modem didn�t support bonding. Big plus was it has integrated Trend Micro security built in.
The Pinnacle of Wireless Routers
I've invested in many ASUS routers within the past 10 years and the ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 is by far the best of the best. Never have I had this much coverage and stability throughout my home. We have a total of 25 devices connected wirelessly at one time and all have a strong stable connection. Even my kids have commented on how much better and faster the internet has been since installing the new router. This is by far the best router ASUS has made to date and I highly recommend it.
Powerful, but still buggy
This router is powerful, but still hasn't been perfected via firmware updates. I hope that it is more worry free soon, as it has basic issues that make it a requirement to babysit the router.

WAIT FOR WIFI 7
When you buy something now days you should extremely look for security in a product, since there are lot of hacking these days. You should read and ask the company who sale the product about that. NOT WORTH IT TO BUY IT LET WAIT FOR WIFI 7 TO SEE IF THEY FIX ALL THESE. WIFI PROBLEMS: - Guest Network DOES NOT with 1 Band on only. - Difficult long range connectivity. - Smart connect Disconnection problems. - Devices disappearing From Network. Can not stream To TV. SECURITY FIXED in 2021 1. FTP WAN Exposure FIXED!! But need FTPS or FTP for each clients. 2. WAN DNS security FIXED!! Need a lot More Improvement. DOES NOT force devices to use dns configure by administrator. SECURITY NOT FIXED since 2005 or before 1. SMB V1(Very Old) to SMB V3 2. Administrator password improved 32 characters, but need more. 3. Aicloud features and SECURITY NOT update Since 2005 or before. 4. OpenVPN Security should be update Regularly. 5. DO NOT mention OS Version. It always run on a old OS. A Serious security concern. 6. All UPCOMING NEW Router comes with all of these BAD thing. Try it and you will see! PERFORMANCE and UPDATES 1. Every 4-7 Month updates 2. Does Not Update its Features at all. 3. Very Good Hardware Running on a VERY Old OS. 4. USB Port Extremely SLOW. Write Speed 1.2mb/second. That is Horrible! 5. NO USB-C connectivity 6. SUPER BASIC firewall. NO Features Provided 7. Can NOT Block HTTPS. 8. All UPCOMING NEW Routers comes with all of these BAD thing. 9. PRICE is TOO HIGH for all the comments provided in this review. 10. GT-AX11000 has Better WIFI Range. 11. No enough Memory. I have 2 Hard drive connected and now it said 28MB free memory only. That is why you got rebooting itself, slow wifi speed, slow File transfer, ect...

A little on the expensive side but does everything great. Easy to setup and is fast. Good range on all channels. Limited only by my provider.
Great once setup
Setup instructions for using 10G not great, a long with creating a mesh network. After allot of online looking, I got it working. Amazing speed increase.
