Designed with pro gamers and enthusiasts in mind, the ROG Strix XG27AQMR 27" 1440p HDR 300 Hz Gaming Monitor from ASUS lets you take on the competition with exceptional responsiveness and liquid-smooth visuals. This 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution monitor features a 300 Hz refresh rate through the DisplayPort input, a 1 ms response time, and ASUS ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) technology that work together to significantly reduce motion blur from fast action scenes. The graphics are further enhanced with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, which reduces screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts from fast-action scenes with compatible graphics cards.
DisplayHDR 600 certified high-dynamic range support provides realistic looking color with deep blacks and bright whites. At the same time, visual enhancements such as Dynamic Shadow Boost, GameVisual modes, and GamePlus hotkeys give you an edge against the competition. Other features include a two-port USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub, which allows you to connect peripherals such as a webcam, which may be placed on the integrated 1/4" tripod mount.
300 Hz Refresh Rate
This 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 300 Hz through the DisplayPort inputs, which works with the 1 ms (GtG) response time to deliver silky smooth graphics during fast action sequences. The HDMI inputs are limited to 144 Hz and video game consoles may have a 120 Hz maximum refresh rate.
AMD FreeSync Premium Pro & NVIDIA G-SYNC
Reduce screen tearing with AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Technology. Both enable the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.
ASUS ELMB
ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology enables a 1 ms (GtG) response time and provides users with sharp details and responsive movements. ELMB works alongside Adaptive-Sync technologies to deliver detailed visuals and high frame rates.
Deep Visuals
The 27" In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel is factory calibrated to deliver 1.07 billion colors with high-dynamic range, covering 97% of the DCI-P3 and 120% of the sRGB spectrums at ?E <2 accuracy for rich visuals featuring bright whites and deep blacks. Other features include a 600 nits peak brightness and 1000:1 static contrast ratio.
Note:
ELMB Sync, GameVisual, Shadow Boost, Brightness, Contrast, ASCR, Aspect Control, Blue Light Filter, Color Temp, Gamma, Saturation, and Dynamic Dimming features are disabled when HDR content is detected.
VESA DisplayHDR 600
The VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification is an industry standard that ensures this display has a minimum peak 600 nits level of brightness alongside a specific color gamut, bit depth, and rise time values for high color accuracy and contrast.

GameVisual Modes
A variety of presets are available for optimized the visuals. They include:
Racing: Reduces input lag with G-SYNC turned on.
MOBA: Enhances the color of the opponent's health and mana bars.
Cinema: Cools and saturates colors for more immersive movies.
RTS / RPG: Enhances color saturation and contrast sharpness for brighter colors and detailed visuals.
FPS: High contrast brightens up darkened areas and shadows to help spot hidden enemies.
sRGB: Optimizes colors for surfing the web or editing photos.
Scenery: Provides more contrast gradations, making grass greener and skies bluer for slide shows.
Additional Visual Enhancements
Flicker-Free technology reduces flicker to minimize eyestrain for improved comfort during extended gaming sessions. ASUS Ultra-Low Blue Light technology offers four different settings to help reduce the amount of blue light that the display emits.
Connectivity
The ROG Strix XG27AQMR includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Ergonomic Design
The screen can be rotated 90° in either direction to view documents in portrait mode. Adjust the screen's height, tilt, and swivel to suit your comfort. Or use the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes to attach the monitor to a swivel arm, wall, or multi-monitor stand. The 178° horizontal vertical viewing angles allow you to see the screen clearly from almost any position.
