Beyerdynamic DT-280 MKII Overview
The DT 280 from Beyerdynamic is a professional-quality single-ear headset ideal for sportscasters, on-air commentary, intercoms, and talkback systems. The headset features a powerful neodymium magnet system to provide clear, crisp audio. The lightweight, low-profile design has a closed-back earcup with a thick around-ear cushion, as well as an adjustable padded headband to provide lasting comfort.
The headset has a hypercardioid dynamic microphone that delivers clear vocal pickup. The mic is on a flexible, pivotable gooseneck for optimal positioning. An elastic mic suspension prevents rumble and handling noise. The gooseneck can be placed on either side of the headset, or set to an out-of-the-way upper position when not in use. An optional limiter is also available on the headset, ideal for talkback systems. The single-sided cable resists tangles and is detachable for easy replacement. All parts of the headset can be easily exchanged or replaced for a long life of professional use.
