ChamSys SnakeSys 10Scene Overview
The SnakeSys 10Scene Wall Plate Station from ChamSys is a two-pack of wall plates equipped with ten 10Scene trigger buttons and blue and red LED status indicators. It integrates seamlessly with QuickQ and MagicQ systems and provides long distance signal transmission at up to 3280' when working with a single 10Scene or up to 984' when using five 10Scenes. You can daisy-chain up to ten of these wall plates and use twisted pairs from a standard Cat 5e cable (available separately) to connect to the unit's proprietary 7-pin push-lock cable connector.
The SnakeSys 10Scene connects directly to a QuickQ Rack or 10Scene Gateway without the need of using power injectors. Each package comes with two white and two black cover plates with a user-friendly front panel interface and a label kit. Using its own protocol for communication between wall mounts and the controller, when connected to a QuickQ Rack, the SnakeSys 10Scene duplicates the functionality of the QuickQ's buttons and provides remote activation. The red and blue status indicators let you know which scene has been stored and which scene is active.
