Enjoy the robust and simple mounting design of PL-mounted glass on any camera with a standard Sony E mount with this DENZ PL-Adapter. Mounting the adapter on your camera lets you choose from the vast array of Pl-mount lenses that span the gamut of size, format, look, manufacturer, and age from vintage to new without needing to use a dedicated digital cine camera. Once attached to your camera, you can feel comfortable swapping PL-mount lenses without worrying about wearing out your camera's E mount.
The mount adapter places the PL locating pin in the standard position, so your PL-mount lens maintains the proper orientation on your camera. The mount has a red dot that lines up with the locating pin, so you can visually confirm that it is attached in the proper position before mounting your lens. Featuring long-wearing stainless steel components, the mount adapter does not have any electrical contacts for metadata.
