Long preferred by beauty, fashion, and portrait photographers and increasingly popular with vloggers, the Bi-Color LED 19" Ring Light and Light Stand Kit from Fovitec provides a fetchingly soft, nearly shadowless quality of light, thanks to its rounded opaque front diffuser, that's especially flattering to skin tones. While you can position the light to the subject's left or right, it's while shooting through the fixture's 14" diameter central opening with your camera or smartphone attached to the included mounts, that the real magic happens. The hallmark of this form factor is the interesting and engaging circular catchlights reflected in the eyes of your subject.

The light has a color temperature that's variable from 3200 to 5600K to blend in seamlessly with your room light or just for creative effects. The light's high CRI of 96 is an indicator of advanced accuracy in color rendering. The ring light can be used worldwide via the included 100-240 VAC adapter, but it also runs on two separately purchased NP-F batteries for situations where AC power is unavailable. A 6.25' light stand is included to support the ring light.

The ring light has two built-in NP-F battery plates (batteries not included). True Bi-Color Instead of using filters, the light has a color adjustment knob that allows you to dial in the color temperature of your light to match your ambient light and give you the look you're going for. Color Accuracy With a CRI of 96 indicating advanced precision in rendering color, you won't have to worry about unseemly color shifts. Better Light Quality The large diameter allows the light to reach around the sides of your subject's face, above the brow, and below the chin, creating a more gradual light fall-off and softer transitions between highlights and shadows. Less Lens Distortion The large inner diameter means you can back up and shoot with longer focal lengths without your light getting in the way, allowing you to fill the frame without distorting your subject's features. Rounded Shape Instead of using another collection of transparent clip-on plates, Fovitec molded a rounded, opaque front diffuser. This 3D shape more evenly spreads the light in all directions, creating a softer light quality that wraps around the face. Durable Construction, Frosted Material The built-in diffuser is made of a single piece of frosted UV-coated plastic.
