Furman ASD-120 Overview
The Furman ASD-120 2.0 6-Channel Sequencing Power Distributor (Version 2) is a compact 2 RU, low-cost rackmount power distribution system for use cases such as touring PA systems, touring musical and theatrical acts, mobile recording facilities, video shoots, and other situations that call for the distribution of AC power to multiple circuits. With a 120A, 120 VAC sequenced distro and controller, six duplex NEMA 5-20R outlets, and six thermal circuit breakers, the ASD-120 2.0 allows for six circuits to be powered up in sequence.
The front-panel LEDs report the power, phases, and delay so you can have a better understanding of how power is being distributed. This distributor also features six delay banks with adjustable delay capabilities, per-circuit power mode switches, a front-panel key switch and an anti-tamper DIP cover for added security, and a Force Off emergency shutdown function.
- 120A 120VAC sequenced distro and controller
- Six independent 20A circuits at 120V (120A total load capacity)
- 120A power distribution block accommodates 120V/240V single phase or 120/208-Y three-phase power
- Remote interface with an isolated 12 VDC, 250mA power source for external secondary applications
- Signal level relay contacts (NO or NC) used to control and sequence other units
- Six delay banks with rear-panel NEMA 5-20R duplex outlets and optically isolated DC relay outlets
- Front-panel status power LED, bypass switch, and circuit breaker for each delay bank
- X Y Z status LED confidence indicators for each input phase
- Sequence unit ON or OFF from front panel or by remote switch
- Independent three-position switches to select power sequence (SEQ) or Bypassed ON or OFF for each Bank
- Adjustable delay with up to 7-minute interval between banks (35 minutes total maximum sequence time)
- Front-panel key switch and anti-tamper DIP cover for added security
- Force Off emergency shutdown
