Podcast producers, musicians, and audio engineers in need of a basic audio mixer with Bluetooth input and USB playback will be impressed with the Gemini Sound GEM-8USB, a compact, 8-input 2-bus mixer well suited for professional applications such as podcasting, music production, and live sound performance.
Channels 1-2 feature XLR mic inputs, 1/4" line inputs, a 75 Hz HPF, and 3-band EQ. Channels 3-8 are offered in 1/4" stereo pairs and include a -10 dB pad for loud sources. Use the FX to send the track to the onboard delay or to the 1/4" FX send for outboard effects processing. Channels 7/8 function as the Aux return for mixing outboard effects. Use the USB port to playback audio from a hard drive or data stick, or wirelessly stream audio to the built-in Bluetooth receiver.
