GyroVu GV-USB-FV50-PS Overview
The GyroVu USB to Sony NP-FV50 Dummy Battery Cable with AC Adapter, 40" long, allows you to connect compatible Sony Handycam camcorders to USB power sources or directly to a wall outlet. The NP-FV50 dummy battery installs into the battery slot of any Handycam that uses an NP-FV50 or NP-FV100A battery. The USB end can be plugged into USB power banks, chargers, and any other power source with a USB port. Please note, the USB power source must deliver at least 2A output. The USB ports on many computers output less than 2A.
Alternatively, the included USB to AC adapter allows you to connect the cable to any 2-prong wall plug to run the camera. The AC adapter supports 100 to 240V worldwide power input, so it can be used internationally if you add an appropriate plug adapter.
