ikan PT4900-PTZ-V2 Overview
This 19" PTZ Teleprompter Widescreen Talent Monitor, Pedestal & Dolly Turnkey from ikan bundles a 19" teleprompter monitor that boasts 1280 x 1024 resolution and high 1000 cd/m² brightness, a 3G-SDI widescreen talent monitor, a pedestal, and a tripod dolly with cable guards. The prompter offers HDMI, VGA, and composite connectivity, and it features a 65/35 reflective glass that enhances visibility for the presenter. Adjustment of the display's orientation can be easily switched via the intuitive image flip button.
PTZ Teleprompting
The system enables the PTZ camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities while still behind the reflective teleprompter glass. You can easily pan the camera between multiple people reading from the same script.
Secure Hood with Drawstring Access
The PTZ teleprompter features a lightweight hood that fully encloses the PTZ camera, which allows its movement to remain unconstrained. The hood includes an opening in the back that gives you quick access to the PTZ cameras inputs and outputs. The opening can be closed with a drawstring, which removes the possibility of any light leaks.
Easy Balancing
A long rail allows you to easily balance your entire teleprompter setup. The teleprompter base can be easily moved forward and backward until the perfect balance is set.
Proprietary Glass & Coating Formula
The glass is coated, so that it reflects 65% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 35% to pass through. This unique characteristic enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly, projected from a monitor below or behind the glass, while simultaneously allowing the camera positioned directly behind the glass to record through it without capturing the reflected text.
Image Flip Button
The monitor features an image flip button that allows for both horizontal and vertical flipping of the displayed image. This feature is ideal for presenters who are video conferencing since it enables the presenters to view themselves as if they were looking into a mirror, giving a greater sense of comfort during the video conference or live stream.
Reusable Foam
The shipping foam has dedicated cutouts for the teleprompter components, enabling you to reuse it in the separately available ikan PT-CASE-4U waterproof hard case.
Heavy-Duty Tripod
The heavy-duty tripod is made of aluminum and the legs are a twin tube design with two stages. It includes the E-Image Mono-Lock design, which allows you to control the height of both stages with a single twist lock. The full system, once completely assembled, can be adjusted to a maximum height of 75.5" and a minimum height of 37".
100mm Bowl
The fluid head includes a 100mm bowl mount with a twist lock to secure the teleprompter and camera payload. This standardized bowl size serves as a connection point between the tripod legs and the video head, providing a secure and versatile platform.
Drag/Counterbalance
The fluid head features 15 steps of adjustable counterbalance and eight steps of pan and tilt dampening. The drag and counterbalance combined are a crucial feature in video camera tripods, enhancing stability and facilitating smooth camera movements.
Pan & Tilt Locks
The fluid head features individual locks for both the pan and tilt. These locks allow videographers to fix the horizontal panning and vertical tilting axes, ensuring stability and eliminating unintended shifts in framing.
Dual Pan Handles
The dual pan handles allow you to maintain firm control on your shots. These pan handles also work perfectly for mounting zoom, focus, and iris controls. The length range for each panhandle is 16.7 to 24".
Slide Range
The tripod plate mounts the teleprompter system to the fluid head and provides an extra 5.7" of sliding range. By allowing horizontal adjustments of the camera position on the tripod plate, this feature enables precise counterbalancing. Videographers can fine-tune the distribution of weight to achieve equilibrium, ensuring that the counterbalance system effectively stabilizes the camera setup, especially when using heavy lenses or accessories.
High-Capacity Dolly
The dolly comes with cable guards and allows for quick and smooth movement for tripods weighing up to 132 lb. It is equipped with individually braked 4" wheels with cable guards and folds for easy transporting. It is designed for use with all E-Image tripod legs that feature dual spiked feet. It supports up to 132 pounds and is ideal for moving tripods along a flat surface for quick repositioning between shots and is designed to help you move heavy tripods from one camera position to the next. This tripod dolly features 4" diameter, non-marring rubber wheels with individual brakes, and a 39.4" working base diameter. Once removed from your tripod legs, it folds for storage or transport.
