Designed for large enterprises and institutions, the IRIScan Desk 6 Business from IRIS is a versatile document scanner with support for distance learning sessions. It supports up to A4/A3 documents and features 32MP extrapolation with a max resolution of 4608 x 3456. You can digitize documents and books, as well as record up to 2048 x 1536 video to create live demos. Audio can be recorded via a built-in mic.
Artificial Intelligence features include finger removal, auto-page-turn detection, and text-to-speech. Other features include advanced image processing, contrast image settings, automatic de-skewing, multi-cropping, automatic edge-filling of a damaged document, front and back cover book detection, and a self-timer. IRIScan Desk 6 Business has an optical resolution of 300 dpi and recognizes 128 languages. It can be connected to and used with Mac and Windows computers. Editable content can be output in JPG, PDF (image), PDF (searchable), PDF (text), Word, Excel, Txt, EPUB (E-book), MP3, and WAV.

The IRIScan Desk 6 Business seamlessly integrates with the IRIS OCR engine. This powerful user interface converts scanned documents into searchable files. It supports the following formats: searchable PDF, image PDF, text PDF, text, Word, Excel, JPG, MP3, and WAV.
The text-to-speech function will read aloud any of the supported document types, such as a Word doc, PDF file, or web page, word by word. This feature lets you listen to what's being read while you read along.
IRIScan Desk 6 Business comes with an IRIS productivity software suite that includes Cardiris (Windows) for converting your business cards into Outlook contacts.
