Its working well for me
Ive been hunting for a rolling briefcase with a shoulder strap to replace an old Targus bag that wore out. This bag is working well as a replacement but I find the extension handle is a bit short and is only a single extension instead of other dual extensions making it hard to grab. The benefit of the single extension handle is the amount of space in the rear pocket that contains the extension. Lots of room in the rear pocket for chargers and other gack that I need to carry. It fits well in overhead compartments and under the seats in airplanes.
Solid build & design for 16-17
I must be honest; I haven't had a chance to really use it much. But I will say that, compared to my past roller notebook cases, it is very well built. I was attracted by it being able to be used both as a roller and as a carry case. It looks slim enough to slip under the airplane seat. It has a convenient external pocket for a water bottle. The inner padding for the laptop is one of the better ones I've seen. I like the curved back design; perfect when carrying over your shoulder. It also has a velcro band in the back to secure it to a suitcase handle when travelling. There are plenty of places to put the usual pens, business cards and files. One of the best features is the back compartment where the handle is mounted. Kensington makes great use of an otherwise useless space by adding several pockets, including one long enough to put your laptop's cord and power supply. All in all, a great design and feature set, not to mention the attractive price. I can't wait to really put it to use!
I think it's terrific
I roll around NYC & up & down subway stairs. The case is sturdy, so far, rolls Ike a dream, has lots if compartments, holds my 17 PC nicely along with pencils, the usual purse contents, folders and on and on. The handle is a bit wobbly, but no problem. It's two flaws are - it's the tiniest bit too wide to make it through subway stalls while pulling it, and the pole handle makes it really hard to put anything on top of the case.
Solid Bag
I enjoy the shoulder strap that most other rollers dont offer. Plus the storage in the back compartment is nice.
Best Bag ever
I travel frequently and carry project specifications and vendor manuals for equipment so the bag is usually as full as I can pack it. Great bag, sturdy, plenty of pockets and comfortable to carry which brings me to my only complaint. I wore out the original carrying strap and the company has sent me two replacements but they are both cheaply made and don't stay on my shoulder like the original one did nor do they have the nice padding of the original. I will continue to try to get a OEM strap but have switched to another bag during this time. I will probably have to get another new bag with the OEM strap if I can't get the company to send me the one that is as good as the original one. Great bag overall, replacement straps, not so much.
Great Roller case
I use this case daily to and from work and on out of town trips. This is my third Kensington Contour roller case; I use them until they wear out. Great for all the little things you like to carry along with your computer ie flash drives, files, cords etc. Last one I had, the telescope handle eventually would not stay up; we'll see how this one holds up. Great case.
