XF-1989-FAR is a thermocouple brake pad temperature sensor. This thermocouple sensor is to be used to monitor the temperature of brake pads up to +400°C. It is designed to be embedded into the pads. Each sensor has 1m of fibre glass insulated cable, with stainless steel overbraid. Each tip is sealed with a high temperature ceramic paste (fortafix) which can withstand temperatures up to +400°C.
