LanParte SS-03 Overview
Add a shoulder support to your camera rig for long handheld shoots with this Lightweight Shoulder Pad Support with 15mm LWS Rod Clamp from LanParte. The support consists of a quick release baseplate, a Manfrotto 501-type quick release camera plate, a soft shoulder pad, and a 15mm LWS rod clamp.
The aluminum baseplate features a quick release button, a security lock, and a bubble level, and your camera mounts onto the 501-type quick release plate using the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws. Rubber padding on top of the quick release plate prevents twisting and protects your camera from twisting. The 15mm rod clamp on the front allows the support to be mounted on standard 15mm LWS rods.
The shoulder pad attaches to the bottom of the baseplate using hook-and-loop straps and provides a soft, angled fit on your shoulder. On the back of the mount, there is a cheese-style plate with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads to add optional counterweights or a battery plate. A spare 3/8"-16 screw stores on the side of the plate.
