MILAB DRUM PACK Overview
The Milab Microphone Pack for Drums with Accessories in a Flight Case provides a comprehensive microphone kit for recording your drum kit's sounds. If features one BDM-01 for accurately capturing your base drums booming sound and seven VM-44 Classic small-diaphragm condensers to place around your kit to faithfully capture each hit. Included shockmounts and windscreens ensure you get the cleanest sound without artifacts caused by vibration or wind noise. Four K&M 24030 mic holders round out the kit, which comes in a high-quality flight case.
Able to withstand a sound-pressure level of 155 dB, the MILAB Bass Drum Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a dedicated bass-drum microphone that is as equally at home in the studio as on the road. Designed to handle the sound-pressure level and specific sonic qualities of the bass drum, it features a handcrafted 21mm condenser capsule that provides excellent attack and HF response, and its frequency curve has been tailored for that perfect bass-drum sound. The mic's dynamic range, sensitivity, and pop filters are also optimized for the sound and power of the bass drum. The microphone captures the true sound of the drum with a fullness and attention to detail that is simply superior to a typical dynamic microphone alternative.
Bring a natural and transparent sound to your varied recording duties with the VM-44 Classic from MILAB, a professional small-diaphragm condenser ideal for transient-rich sources like acoustic guitar, piano, and drums. With its finely tuned frequency response and discrete design, the VM-44 excels in the studio and on stage.
The cardioid pattern helps you stay focused on your intended sound sources, but the capsule can also be exchanged with optional omni and supercardioid alternatives. With the -12 dB pad, the VM-44 can handle up to 140 dB SPL, providing enough headroom for a wide range of acoustic or electric sources. The VM-44 Classic includes a shockmount and a windscreen.
The MILAB 3227 is a shockmount for the Milab DC-196, DC-196 Platinum Edition, DC-96C, LSR-3000, and BDM-01 microphones. It features a rubber construction that helps reduce vibrations coming through the stand.
The shockmount also fits microphones with a diameter of 27mm. It mounts on stands with 3/8"-16 and 5/8"-27 threading.
