Outfitted with a magnification and objective lens combination that is preferred by birders, hunters, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts the world over, the Minox 10x42 X-Lite Binoculars are designed to be your go-to optic for all of your outdoor activities.
Their 10x magnification is ideal for bringing distant subjects in close for detailed observations, and the 42mm objectives keep the views bright and sharp even in low and challenging light like at dawn and dusk or under heavy cloud cover or forest canopies. Utilizing an open-bridge/dual-hinge configuration helps to offset the weight of the front lenses without sacrificing stability while providing plenty of room to wrap your hands completely around the optical tubes for a better gripeven if you need to glass with one hand.
Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics and phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms transmit bright and clear high-contrast images with true neutral color rendition and crisp clarity. Complementing this optical performance are a wide exit pupil, comfortable eye relief, and a wide field of view that greatly improve your viewing experience no matter where you take them or what you look at. The chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, while the optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performanceso the X-Lite binoculars will be more comfortable than you if the weather takes a turn to cold and wet.
Optical Performance
- Powerful 10x magnification allows for detailed observation of distant subjects
- Full-size 42mm objective lenses provide the light-gathering capability required to keep views bright in low light and when viewing subjects at long range
- Roof prism light path allows for smaller optical tubes versus Porro prism design for more comfortable handling without compromising performance
- BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
- Phase-correcting prism coatings reduce or eliminate internal interference to correct ghosting and halos for better resolution and clarity
- Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics improve light transmission to produce a neutral color rendition and boost contrast
- Wide 61° apparent angle of view reduces the appearance of distracting hand shake and the need for the user to move their head to see the scene in front of them
- Generous 319' field of view at 1000 yards
