Expand the Wi-Fi coverage of your small-to-medium business with the WAX610Y AX1800 Dual-Band PoE-Compliant Cloud Managed Outdoor Access Point from Netgear. This weather-resistant 802.11ax outdoor access point mounts onto a wall or pole using the included hardware and connects to a PoE-compliant switch or router through its 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for power and data. Once connected, the access point transfers up to 1800 Mb/s of data wirelessly over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, even in dense wireless environments such as schools, hotels, restaurants, and conference centers. This access point features enterprise-grade security and using the cloud-based Insight interface allows you to configure and monitor your device from almost anywhere in the world via mobile app or web portal. Additionally, the WAX610Y is backward compatible with 802.11b/g/n/a/ac devices.
Fast Wi-Fi
The WAX610Y is designed to deliver 802.11ax Wi-Fi speeds of up to 1800 Mb/s over the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. It uses technologies such as OFDMA and MU-MIMO to help provide reliable speed and coverage for up to 30 concurrent users in congested environments such as schools, hotels, restaurants, and conference centers.
Built for the Outdoors
With its P2i nano-coating and IP55 rating, this outdoor access point resists water, dust, long sun exposure, snow, hail, frost, and more.
Quick Setup
Connect the WAX610Y to a PoE-compatible network switch or router through its 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for power and data. Hardware is included to mount this access point onto a wall or round pole.
Insight Management
A 1-year subscription to the Netgear Insight cloud management platform is included with the WAX610Y. With it, you can configure and monitor your network from almost anywhere in the world via the mobile app or web-based portal. You can also perform tasks such as monitor Wi-Fi activity, receive downtime notifications, reboot devices, and upgrade their firmware.
Enterprise Level Security
Your network is secured with WPA3 encryption, while support for eight wireless network IDs (SSIDs) and multiple VLANs to provide separate access to your employees, guests, and more.
