Nightstick 400B-SS Overview
Avoid accidental activation of your TAC-300, TAC-350 or TAC-400 flashlight by simply installing the Nightstick Tail Cap with Side Switch. The stock tailcap has a conventional tailcap switch that can flash the light accidentally if it's bumped or dropped�potentially breaking light discipline in tactical situations or running down the battery in your kit bag. The tailcap switch also requires a specific handgun-flashlight hold that some find uncomfortable to properly activate the light. This replacement moves the switch to the side of the tailcap and slightly recesses it. Having the switch on the side allows you to hold the light with your whole hand in a more natural grip, giving you flexibility in shooting style and providing protection against accidental activation in critical situations. The switch retains the full functionality of the light providing both momentary and constant-on operation.
