Don�t know why I couldn�t keep the piece that work
Cant rate. Never got to use as I had to send it back along with the broken light as I purchased in package. Too bad it was the final piece I needed to work with my other 18 HUE lights. I was looking forward to that. Don�t know why I could not have kept this and just sent back the light.
Great but inconsistent
When it works it's really nice, but I constantly have problems with the sync to start. I think it may have something to do with the signal, but what concerns me is that it seems random when it works or doesn't. Is a 2-star not a little harsh then - you may ask. No, because most of the time it doesn't work and leads to frustration with restarts, resets, etc.
Pricey but Fun
I paired this with a 65 inch Bravia OLED TV and the Hue gradient light strip. It was a little tricky to set up, it requires the separate Hue Sync app. Once that was figured out, it worked perfectly. The whole set up works well and has greatly improved the home viewing experience.
Sync Box crashes randomly
I like the functionality that the sync box gives, and it is really quite cool. The issue that I have with the box is that randomly the television video feed simply dies. Each time this happens, it is the sync box that has to be rebooted to get the video back. The interesting thing is that it doesn't matter if the sync box is actively syncing or not - it just randomly dies. I also wish there was a unified app to control all Hue devices, but that is a wishlist item.
App needs work
The App is not quite ready for prime time.
Needs to do more for the price.
I love the capability, however It needs to come with a remote, or a input switch on the device. I should not need to use my phone to control every function.
Cool system
I like the system I just wish it was a little easier to set up and I don�t know if it�s worth as much as it cost!
Disappointed
This product does not work with my stereo and I feel like I�ve spent a lot of money for nothing. I wish there would have been clearer notifications that this product doesn�t work with some stereos when connected to a firestick
